proper brushing dog teeth

One of the most important things that you want to do for your little Chihuahua, Bull Dog, Labrador or other precious dog breed is to keep it healthy.
Its teeth should be part of this. So the best way to ensure that your pet has healthy teeth is to brush them for him.
If you don't do this, your dog can end up with gum disease and losing his teeth and may even be fatal. But how you do it properly?
Don't brush your teeth of dogs, just like humans there is going to be that a buildup of tartar and plaque, and this is what causes the damage to his teeth and his gums. Not only could his teeth rot out but could turn into periodontal disease, which ultimately will affect his whole body from his blood flow to other organs such as the heart and even his kidneys.
First thing to do is to find an old toothbrush that nobody is using so that you can use just for your dog for the sole purpose of clean teeth.
Make sure you take this old brush and make sure to clean it really well before using it on your teeth.
After having washed away the brush is a good idea for you to allow your dog to go back and smell the brush and let him lick if he wants before deciding whether to brush your teeth.
In this way he will get a feeling for it and find that it's nothing for him to fear.
Go ahead and let him put in his mouth and let him chew on it a bit too if you want. All of this allows him to see there is nothing brush that can do harm.
Once his mouth go ahead and start slowly moving the brush gently around his mouth and over his teeth so that he gets used to the idea of you put this thing in your mouth every time you want to take care of his teeth.
After this you should make sure you secure your dog on the floor and make sure the head is lying on the floor. You can use special dog toothpaste or not to brush your teeth.
Never use human toothpaste to brush your dogs teeth. If you don't have toothpaste don't worry. Just brushing will help to get a lot of plaque and Tartar.
Then you will pull them if you have to lip and start to brush your teeth very slowly. Should start on one side and then go toward the front of the teeth and then move to other side of his mouth. Do this a few times and you are done. You probably should do this at least once a day.
Another thing you can do to try to help your dog to having healthy teeth is to get some good Doggie treats that are good for their teeth.
There are a lot of different dog treats that are specially made to help clean your dog's teeth. Are not only good for your teeth, but your dog is going to love them and will brush your teeth much easier.
